Antes de falar do preço, primeiro o que deve ser discutido a qualidade da mão de obra, o material empregado, tudo depende do referencial, se compararmos a moveis produzido para durarem por 1 ano, realmente pode ser denominado caro, agora quando você espera que o móvel tenha durabilidade de no mínimo 10 anos sem manutenção, acredito que o fator preço seja justificado, outro detalhe é que os móveis, são projetados com a ergonomia voltada para o cliente, sem contar na exclusividade !

It's a 1912 building, formerly used as high-school, that holds the Museum of Santo André since 1990. After the death of epigraphist Dr. Octaviano Gaiarsa, his name was added to the name of Museum. The idea of creating a museum in Santo André goes back to 1950's. The first concrete action came in 1967, while the Culture, Sports and Education Secretary of São Paulo State created several historical and pedagogical museums. The students and teachers of Instituto Américo Brasiliense (now EE Dr. Américo Brasiliense) planed to found one in Santo André, which was not carried out. In 1974, the city's Culture, Sports and Education Secretary leased a campaign named "Nosso passado pode estar com você" ("Our past may be with you") for collecting objects, documents and photographs, which was the beginning of the collection of the Museum. But it was only a few years after, in 1982, that a committee wrote the law that actually create the Museum which at that time was in a room of the Cultural Propagation Department. In 1988 the Museum was moved to the ground floor of Culture, Sports and Education Secretary. The moving to the present location occurred in 1990, during the I Historical Congress of Grande ABC, that took place there.
